Based on the ‘Great Easterner’ (a 19th Century) vessel, one of the first conversion ships of the Atlantic, David worked constantly on this one for approximately 8 months. There are about 14,000 pieces of tiny wooden sticks all sculptured, glued and burned.

Basé sur une photo d’un livre, David a recréé le ‘Great Easterner’ (19ième siècle). Ce dernier fût un des premiers navires transformé pour traverser l’Atlantique. Cette création demanda à David plus de 8 mois de travail constant. Elle est constituée environ de 14 000 bâtonnets de bois, sculptés, collés et brûlés.
